| Description |
Security Issues in Complex Sourcing Transactions, presented by ACC's IT, Privacy & eCommerce Committee, sponsored by Hunton & Williams LLP.
This webcast will address one of the most critical issues in complex sourcing and technology relationships today - security. Customers and vendors continue to struggle to address the rapidly evolving security landscape and properly reflect their respective responsibilities and liability in complex sourcing agreements. The panelists will provide practical advice from their individual perspectives as inside counsel at a well known US based global company, counsel for a prominent vendor in the outsourcing industry and outside counsel who works on sourcing transactions and security issues on a daily basis. The session will cover the lifecycle of the security issue in complex technology, services and sourcing transactions, from development of the customer and vendor's approach to the issue all the way through to defining responsibilities in the contract and allocating liability if something goes wrong.
